Alfa Romeo is readying its return to the U.S. market, and it's not doing it in a subtle way. Say hello to the 4C, a mid-engine sports car that has car nerds coast to coast eagerly awaiting its arrival. Alfa Romeo turned to famed race-car fabricator Dallara for the unique chassis, which sports a carbon-fiber tub and aluminum substructures. Power comes from a turbocharged 1.7-liter 4-cylinder powerplant making 240 horsepower. That'll be more than enough, since the 4C weighs only 2,200 pounds.
