PRETORIA, South Africa, 12 March 2014 – Ford recently announced specification updates on certain Ranger derivatives.
From Quarter 1 all XLS models receive additional content as standard including:
• Bluetooth with Voice control
• Steering Wheel Audio Controls
• Cruise Control
• Bluetooth with Voice control
• Steering Wheel Audio Controls
• Cruise Control
Further to this the following models now have ESP standard:
• Ranger 2.2 110kW XLS 4×4 6MT Single Cab Diesel
• Ranger 3.2 XLS 4×4 6MT Single Cab Diesel
• Ranger 2.2 HP XLS 4×4 6MT Double Cab Diesel
• Ranger 2.2 110kW XLS 4×4 6MT Single Cab Diesel
• Ranger 3.2 XLS 4×4 6MT Single Cab Diesel
• Ranger 2.2 HP XLS 4×4 6MT Double Cab Diesel
All Rangers now also feature a solid rear window where previously Base, XL and XLS models had a sliding rear window. With this change all Double Cab models will have a three-point seatbelt in the center of the rear seat where before this was a two-point seat belt.
Further to this all Double Cabs will no longer be fitted with under seat stowage bin lids. The lids will be available as an accessory should the customer require them.
